"Clark Atlanta University Art Galleries Celebrates the 50th Anniversary of the National Conference of Artists" booklet highlighting the historical significance of the National Conference of Artists (NCA) and its connection to the Atlanta University Annual Exhibition of 1959. The NCA, originally the National Conference of Negro Artists, was founded to support African-American artists in a racially segregated art world. The booklet displays the evolution of the NCA and its role in advocating for fair representation in art competitions.
