Photograph of the writing on the statue of Dr. MLK. On statue: In Memory of Martin Luther King, Jr. 48 Outstanding Alumnus of Morehouse College World-Famous Leader of the Non-Violent Movement Distinguished Winner of the Nobel Peace Prize. From Morehouse College he launched his humanitarian pilgrimage to create the beloved community and for that purpose he moved out from the classroom and his pulpit to march his way into immortality. This Statue is a Gift of the National Baptist Convention. U.S.A., Inc. T.J. Jemison President, W.
