This undated video recording consists of committee meeting discussing curriculum reforms in Portland, Oregon. The curriculum reforms were part of an attempt to integrate more fully the curriculum of the Portland School District. The presentations on this video include the achievements of people of African descent in mathematics and science and the need to reform the presentation of Ancient Egyptian history to make it clear that Egypt was an African society.
