As one principal said in terms of the Baptist and Methodist churches with which the schools are so closely identified, "This last meeting with all the superintendents and state officials present was like an experience meeting, or better still a 'telling-your-determination meeting' for we committed ourselves publicly to certain actions and asked others to help us spiritually and materially."
