Text from slide presentation: Eventually Mozley Park and surrounding areas became home to more and more Blacks, as whites fled to the outlying suburbs. In April, 1954, Mozley Park, the park, was officially designated for use by Blacks, reflecting the segregationist policies which were still prevalent at that time.
