Booklet compiled by the Public Affairs Research Council of Lousiana regarding the forms of municipal government in Louisiana, prompted by an increasing interest in making improvements to local governments, as the population became more urbanized and some cities were plagued with dishonest officials. While changing the form of government was not offered as as a cure-all for the problems facing municipalities in the publication, potential change presented the opportunity of creating a structure more conducive to efficient and effective operation. 12 pages.
