This video features a youth summit event at the Westcliff Mall and a partial recording of an event at St. Luke Community United Methodist Church in Dallas, Texas. The youth summit event is led by David Farrow (sp?) and emphasizes the importance of education and building the future for Black youth. Other speakers at the event speak to the youth attendees about conflict resolution and concerns around gun violence. The footage of the event at St. Luke Community United Methodist Church includes singing and dancing performances. Both events are part of the 37th Annual Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) Convention and took place on August 16.
