Abstract: The global pandemic forced libraries and archives to change and adapt in many areas, including archival collection development. In an effort to address the needs of our community of users and responsively collect materials, the Digital Preservation Working Group and the Archives Research Center established a mechanism for collecting real-time COVID-19 responses from the AUC community. Based on a presentation given at the 2020 Digital Library Federation Forum, presenters will discuss the need for responsive collection development and the methods and technology behind the AUC COVID-19 Response collection.
