The meeting discussed soliciting funds for the organization and getting it registered and filed as a 501C3, a non-profit incorporation status. They also discussed developing a Civil Rights History course using a two-tiered approach, but they need to identify financial support. The treasurer's report showed a balance of $387.27. The committee will receive additional money from the sale of T-shirts and they need to trademark everything. The next meeting will be on November 18, 2000, at 2:00 P.M. in Kilgore Hall. 2 pages.
