Love to support funding for the Southern Christian Leadership Conference banquet held each year at the annual convention. Written on verso: *Note: Spotlight Convention Host Chapter -- Reverend Lawrence Landrum (2nd from right) presents a check of $1,500 to (from left to right) Rev. S.L. Harvey, New Orleans SCLC Chapter president, Sidney Barthelemy, New Orleans City Council president and Rev. Albert E. Love, administrative assistant to the national president of SCLC. The money was raised for the SCLC banquet held each year during the Southern Christian Leadership Conference's annual convention. Landrum pastors the Ebenezer Baptist Church in New Orleans and hosted a luncheon and two plenary sessions for the SCLC convention. Barthelemy served as honorary co-chairman of the local chapter's SCLC banquet committee.
