April 28 -- FLORIDA PAVILION PICKETED -- Members of the Florida chapter of the Congress of Racial Equality picket the Florida Pavilion at the World's Fair. Police asked the pickets to leave the Fair grounds. They refused and were then taken into the custody of World's Fair police.
